How to get ready for your plumbing service visit
A little prep makes the visit faster and easier for everyone. So, before your appointment:
- Find your main water shut-off. In most Phoenix homes it’s at the front of the house near a hose bib, on the pipe that comes out of the ground, according to the City of Phoenix plumbing tips. Our shut-off guide shows you what to look for.
- Clear a path. Empty the cabinet under the sink, or move boxes away from the water heater, so the problem area is easy to reach.
- Jot down what you’ve noticed. For example, when it started, any sounds or smells, and whether it gets worse at certain times.
- Settle your pets. Doors may stay open while we bring tools in and out.
